SLEEPOVER!

Every other Sunday for as long as Damion has been out of diapers, he has spent the night over at PaPa's house. They play trains, make water coffee, go stick fishing, and an assortment of other fun activities. It is good Grandad / Grandson time.

This time though, Logan got to stay with them! They played "hotel" and they got room service delivered to their bedroom. Then they got to watch movies until they passed out... about 11:30!

It's good to know that my dad and my kids enjoy these times together and I have a feeling there will be many, many more years of these sleepovers.
Oh yeah... and the blue dots... those are "sleepover passes." They were not allowed to stay the night unless they got their sleepover pass from the blue bingo blotter.

Ahhh... feet.

Logan is notorious for sneaking my camera away and hiding under a table to take some pictures while no one is paying attention. Although 90% of them turn out indecipherable and I have to delete them, there are the few that come out and are quite priceless.

Out and About

Halloween Ya'll!

So for Halloween I tried to keep it as simple as possible since I was sewing TWO costums this year rather than just one. Cowboys it is! A vest and chaps for one and a duster for the other. And if I must say so myself... my boys looked GOOD!
Howdy Ma'am

I'm sorry, were you talkin' to me?

I may LOOK sweet and innocent, but don't mess with me...

Have a nice day Ya'll

YEE HAW!

Bananas Anyone??

Well, Houdini Logan has done it again. Mommies can't even go to the bathroom without disaster striking! What surprised me the most I suppose was the stealth-like silence in which he managed to carry out the maneuver! Amazing...

So, I get out of the bathroom and I see him sitting where I left him in the living room. Quietly watching his... wait a minute... I didn't give him a banana. He must have grabbed one by himself again...

HEY! Why is there like FIVE bananas on my floor? LOGAN!!!!!!!!

"What mom? I was hungry..."
Logan, you just ate a HUGE bowl of cereal for breakfast! Why did you do this???

"Well you see mom... that would be because I can! :)"

"But you can have the peels ma! They suck..."

Giddy Up Horsie

Thank goodness Daddy is a big guy. When you give horsie rides to one, you have to give horsie rides to the other. But, when you are a big daddy, you can give two horsie rides at the same time!! I'm still trying to figure out why he has bells in his mouth... but, it pleased the boys so who cares!?!

Can you make a silly face?

Of course Damion can make a funny face! I don't know where he gets them, but he does funny faces on command! They are quite hilarious especially when he is laughing through them!

Serenity... for a moment

I lovedwatching Logan sitting right here under the wondow, in the afternoon light, "reading" him math flashcards. He looks so peaceful! Of course, this is only moments before the cards flew into the air to cover all of the living room, but Logan will be Logan!

I LOVE YOU!

Almost.

Olympians for our future

The other night we were watching the men's platform diving (which Great Britian won! YEAH!) and Logan stopped everything he was doing and watched the television for at least five minutes without moving. Then, the boys decided to test the waters so to speak.

They dove...

They swam (while holding their breath)...

They came out of the water, showered...

And dried off.

Amazing what they repeat huh?

This is funny.

I do not know what possesed my children to do this the other day, but if you did not realize how big Damion's ears were... well here ya go! And those of us that remember Beavis and Butthead... this might be extra funny...

Oh Dear! Not yet PLEASE!

I am SO not ready for this...

No longer training

It is always a wonderful day when your children finally accomplish something that they have been trying so hard to do. Well, last week, Damion finally acheived his first real bike ride without the training wheels. It just came about one day as if by magic! One day he couldn't (or wouldn't) do it, then the next, he is all over the sidewalk! And when I say all over, I mean it. He needs to concentrate on his steering now that he can ride.

And then, of course, Logan had to try.

For the Love of Brownies

Wow, been a while since my last posting. Here are some pictures of the boys "helping" me make brownies. I will take more pictures soon.
