Younts Boys Mommy

So this has nothing at all to do with the boys... but I thought I would share anyway. I know some will approve, some will disapprove, and some are indifferent, but I have to say... I LOVE IT!

The piece took 8.5 hours and it is not finished yet. It will take another session or two.

Smoothie Pops!

The weather has been SO warm lately so I decided one night to make smoothie pops for the boys. Since Damion is home for four weeks, we all go outside during the day and I thought this would help cool them off.

Mixed berry smoothie pops provide about 15 minutes of entertainment and about an hours worth of cleaning. Damion spent time contemplating the popscicle and seeing if it would drip into the bottom of the holder while Logan just went at it. It was all over their faces!

AAWWW!!!!!

Books are for reading, but bookstores are for dancing.

Aunt Carla bought a book for Damion to get him ready for First grade. We were all rather impressed with the reading level at which Damion can read when he concentrates on it. He read the entire book "The Giving Tree" with very minimal help!

We went to the bookstore to look for new books for Damion to read and both of the boys decided that they were going to utilize the stage for a "performance" of sorts. Of course, we all encouraged them by clapping and cheering. I think all of the other patrons thought we were nuts... Oh Well!

Damion is the dancing King.

Logan trys his hand at breakdancing...

And then the puppet show featuring Mickey and Friends!

Chillin' and Relaxin'

We had a BUSY weekend! We worked outside in the garden with Logan as our little supervisor, we went to check out Aunt Carla and Uncle Prestons new boat, we had a performance at the bookstore, and Damion read a WHOLE book BY HIMSELF! Whew! Well, here are some pictures of the boys throughout the weekend.

No Dad, put that over there.

I'm the captain of this boat... is that a problem?

I'm Driving!!!

Look mom, this is EASY!

Just so that you all know, plastic tipped darts WILL leave a hole in the wall when thrown with enough force.

To Be Continued...
