Big Boy Undies!

Yes, we are potty training and so far, so good. Logan wanted to show me his big boy undies today so I grabbed the camera... like always.

I-Dawww Eeee Num-Num

Lately, Logan has a slight problem with listening to me. He tends to do things no matter what I say (as any two year old does). Well, he likes to go into the pantry and get food for the cats at random times during the day. I have told him numerous times NOT to do this, but he is thrilled every time he gets by with it.

Today I heard him in the pantry and I yelled to him to STOP feeding the cats. I told him that was enough and to put it away. Well, I went into the kitchen to stop him and there he was... with the cat food... but he listened because he was NOT feeding the cats!

My I-Dog got his lunch on the kitchen floor thanks to Logan. And he was wearing his favorite hat! He randomly finds this hat and will wear it for hours at a time.

Reminder

I just wanted to remind you all that any of these pictures can be printed in any size and mailed to you if you wish.

Also, this blog gets archived weekly so if you have missed something or if you want to go back, look at the right side of this page and select a week. The posts for that week will show.

LOVE YOU ALL!

Boys will be Boys

Derrick decided that it was high time to teach Damion how to skip a rock. Although he tried numerous times, the only thing Damion succeeded at was getting them to plop in the water and sink to the bottom. But, he did make a valient effort!

And leave it to Logan to find a stick three times the size of him. I was seriously afraid that he was going to hurt someone with it, but he decided that he would sit down real nice on the pier and start fishing. This kept him quite occupied for some time too.

Day trip to VA

One of my college friends, Rachel, called me Saturday to tell me she was going to be in Clarksville, VA for the day. Well, since it was only about 1.5 hours away, we decided to make a family road trip out there to visit.

Rachels' friend Derrick's parents are building a house on the lake so we got to hang out all day on the pier and the boys got to swim! We had an awesome time and it was good to sit and chat with an old friend.

Damion didn't like sitting in the intertube because he thought that a catfish was going to come up and bite his butt!!!

Zucchini is coming out of my ears!

Between my garden and my mom's, we have more zucchini than we know what to do with. We have steamed it, grilled it, sauteed it, and anything else you can think of... including zucchini bread. Here Damion and Logan decided they were going to help and considering that this is the 8th loaf I've made, I didn't mind the extra help.

Queen Car-Car

Logan decided that this Fourth of July he would attach himself to Carla's hip and not let go. They spent the whole day together and they both loved every minute. From Smore's, to goofing iff, to watching the fireworks, they were the best of friends that day.

Lots to Catch Up On!

The Fourth of July means America, Freedom, Fireworks, and... SMORE'S! Carla is our Smore's queen so the boys got together with her to get all of the stuff ready for the roasted marshmallows.
First, we open all of the packages:

Then, we sample the goods to make sure they are worth giving to others:

Once we decide everything is edible, we get just close enough to the fire to possibly make our marhmallows gooey:

And finally, we enjoy all of our hard work!!
