This is what Boredom leads to

Okay, so last weekend, my parents came over and took BOTH of the boys out for a couple hours. Yes, I said BOTH boys... not just one... BOTH boys. So, Mike and I are left at home, just the two of us, with no children. I know... oh dear! What are we going to do with ourselves?

Common sense says... clean, get laundry done, mop the floor, do anything constructive!! The parent part says... SIT DOWN, RELAX, ENJOY THE SILENCE!

Well, 30 minutes after they left we found ourselves sitting in front of the television practically drooling from boredom. And once we realized that what we were watching happened to be on Disney Channel, we became quite disgusted and concerned with ourselves!

Mike decides to blurt out the following: "Let's shave Luna." At first I giggled and blew it off as a cute joke. I mean, who in the world would shave their cat? Especially a long haired little fur ball? But, the more I sat there, the better the idea became to me. I can blame this on sheer boredom, curiosity, insanity, any of the above really, but the end result... yeah, we shaved her.

And this my friends... this is two hours of wads of hair in a closed bathroom. Hair was EVERYWHERE! And for those of you wanting to try this at home... warning, your electric clippers GET HOT! I'm not talking just heated, I'm talking about burn-the-hell-out-of-your-fingers HOT.
